D: Original dial with exploding numbers. The full arabic numerals aged nicely with charming patina. One of the best original dial with luminous numerals I have seen.

C: Original rectangular 0.925 silver case with four screws at the sides. The curvex design allows the watch to rest your wrist perfectly. Very charming design. Measuring 28mm wide and 48mm long excluding lugs. Where are the lugs?? Well, NO lugs on this one. The strap goes into the case and held onto to the studs built in the case. A design seen in some early Cartier American Tank.

M: Original signed mechanical winding movement keeps accurate time.

Crafted in a 0.935 Silver case shaped like an EYE secured with screws at the sides and bottom. Case measures 28mm excluding crown, 31 including and 45mm long.

This anonymous early watch has a very nicely aged ORIGINAL dial with ART DECO Exploding numerals. Reminds me of a similar timepiece by MOVADO, shown in old Movado horology literatures which is equally hard to find now.

SOLO ART DECO

EARLY ART DECO "SOLO" wristwatch Swiss Made, circa 1920s.

Housed in a sterling silver HINGED back case which has oxidised gracefully, typical of silver cases, which adds vintage charm to the watch.

The case can be polished easily but we would leave it to the new owner to decide as it takes time to develop this patina and any polish work done is irreversible. But really, the watch looks a lot better than pictures.

The watch measures 24mm excluding crown, 27mm including crown and 45 mm lug to lug.

Fixed wire lugs fitted with vintage leather strap.

Look at the nicely aged ORIGINAL exploding numbers dial !!!! I just love the luminous markers and the original matching skeleton hands.

Swiss Made mechanical winding works well and keeps accurate time.
