SEAMASTER QUARTZ22/11

A very good looking OMEGA SEAMASTER QUARTZ + Guarantee paper, Circa 1970s that resembles the renowned OMEGA Megaquartz 2400 Marine Chronometer 1974 model.

This Special Seamaster model is part of the various Quartz models introduced by OMEGA in 1970s, launching the Quartz revolution in watch making. Well known and dependable watches.

Housed in a SOLID and HEAVY Stainless steel RECTANGULAR case measuring 29mm excluding crown, 31 including and 38mm long.

The case has a special RECTANGULAR BOXED design with slope on four sides of the watch, making it very interesting to look at, proud to wear. A design closely resembling the CHUNKY and boxed marine chronometer used for astronomic and chronometric observation. Perfecting the art of portable chronometry.

Original 18k yellow Gold bezel held onto the top case by 4 original screws. Rectangular case in good condition with only light signs of wear. The original OMEGA Quartz insert is still intact on the sloping steel side of the case below 6:00. Very good condition back case with a distinctive embossed Omega Seamaster Logo. There are also 4 original screws holding the back case to the top case.

NEAR MINT Condition original black dial signed SEAMASTER OMEGA with logos. White markers with matching original white luminous hands. Black and white is one of the best looking color combination you can see in any watch and the contrast they give is so clear and distinct, making time telling very easy at a glance.

It is also equipped with a Date indication, with window at 3:00 position. The display crystal is also in very good NEAR MINT condition.

Unique Original crown. As some of you may already know, the Original hour hand is advanced independently by a full hour increment to facilitate time zone changes. The original minute hand is advanced by pressing the crown in, this causes the minute hand to move as long as the pressure is applied.

Fitted with the ORIGINAL thick and heavy Omega Signed Seamaster bracelet with Omega clasp. Bracelet in good condition with only light signs of wear. The bracelet is original to this watch model and is also STRAIGHT and Unstretched unlike others you normally see which is stretched and loose........

Powered by an Original OMEGA 15 Jewel Quartz Movement, Cal. 1320. The watch keeps accurate time. Comes with its original INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE CARD dated 19 MAY 1978 purchased from a watch store named TURLER + CO, located in AIRPORT KLOTEN, ZURICH.
