JULES JURGENSEN VALJOUX 88 TRIPLEDATE MOONPHASES CHRONO

Is that an UFO, no it is a Very Rare 1960's Triple Date Valjoux 88 Jules Jurgensen "Jurgentron" TRIPLEDATE Moonphase Chronograph.

Viewed by some as the inspiration for the creation of IKEPOD.

With a diameter of 46mm - RARE, HUGE, BULKY, COLORFUL, COMPLICATED, FUTURISTIC ARE THE ONLY WORDS ONE COULD USE TO DESCRIBE THIS WATCH !!!

Complete with an Original JJ Box in orange color (how appropriate), Undated Warranty Card, Instruction Manual and the JJ Tag !!!!!!!!

LECOULTRE 18K TRIPLEDATE CALENDAR MOONPHASES

An important and EXTREMELY rare 18K Solid Gold (you usually see the 10k goldfilled version) LeCoultre Rectangular Tripledate moonphase Ca 1940s in near mint condition.

Officially referred to as "LECOULTRE", launched in 1949 In tribute to Jacques-David LeCoultre. The watch is housed in 18K Solid Gold hinged back Rectangular case with black enamelled markers. Fitted with a calendar and moon-phase display, the "LeCoultre" houses the renowned manually wound Calibre 486 movement.

Beautiful original LeCoultre dial with apertures for day and month below 12 0'clock and moonphses indication at 6:00. Original Circulating red pointed calendar hand with clear and fully legible date numbers 1 to 31.

Original blued steel hour, minute and second hands. Subsecond register at 6:00 position showing the second that ticks away...

A Very fine and rare, automatic triple date SQUARE moonphases by GUBELIN Ca. 1950s

Automatic movement with 25 jewels, gold alloy balance with micrometer regulation.

Matt Silver dial with raised gilt five minute marks, inner date ring with central date hand, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the lunations i.e. moonphases. Sweep second hand.

Huge Square case with special lug design and domed crystal.

LEPHARE TRIPLEDATE MOONPHASES, SET OF 3

This is a set of three Pink Gold Top Stainless Steel moonphases by LE PHARE.

All three with original aged dial and equipped with Le Phare renowned protruding date/day/month correctors.

The first and third are automatic - RARE for moonphases. The second one has a mechanical winding movement.

Beautiful dial with blue pointer calendar hand, apertures for day and month. Smiling moonphases.

It is difficult to find a good condition LEPHARE moonphase watch these days, we have three of them :O)

MOVADO TRAVELLING TRIPLEDATE MOONPHASES

A VERY RARE MOVADO ERMETO Travelling Tripledate Moonphase watch Circa 1940s.

Crafted in a very nicely engraved silver case with beautiful motifs. The beautiful case does not only provide protection to the watch it is also equipped with a fantastic mechanism that allows the watch to be wound up when you slide both side cases inwards & outwards.

Original Case with reference numbers. Original winding crown with unique design. There is also a ring hook on the side of the watch that allows it to be chained to your suit pocket, like how it was used in the olden days, as evidenced from the picture shown on the left.

SUPER MINTY 100% ORIGINAL dial with Apertures for DAY and MONTH and moonphases. Original Circulating indicator hand with RED dot for the date, makes date telling so easy at a glance.

All original Beautiful SUPER MINT dial with numbers and dates in its original perfect mint blue color.

Mechanical winding movement keeps perfect time and all day, date and moonphases functions operate properly.

When closed, the case protect the watch whilst you are on the move...When opened, there is a hinged stand on the back that allows the watch to be placed in a standing position....and it has been standing gracefully in my display shelf since.

Most MOVADO ERMETOs I have seen are with leather case, this is a very fine and rare example that will sit prettily in your pocket or on your desk. Discard your table calendar and tell time and date in style with this unique creation.

This is a stainless steel highly sought after moonphase triplecalendar Datofix moonphase chrono by Tourneau in excellent condition.

Date and day functions correct automatically past midnite. Manual correction for Month though as you are aware.

GALLET BABY CHRONO
~ The MultiChron Petite

Probably "One the world's smallest vintage Chrono" by GALLET a.k.a BABY CHRONO by some because of its tiny size of 28mm excluding crown.

Produced in 1939 as part of Gallet's long tradition of enabling professional and enlisted women to excel at tasks generally assigned to men - This is the smallest and one of the finest 20th century time recording wristwatches. Due to the general perception and resistance to "women doing men's jobs", the MultiChron Petite remains as an extremely scarce wristwatch, as very few examples were ever produced, rendering these extraordinary timepieces highly valued as rare and important items by today's collectors.

This example in our collection has a Very good condition WATERPROOF case with rotatable outer bezel, a very rare feature for baby chronos. Its huge round pushers makes this baby looks so cute and adorable to hold and wear. Beautiful perfect condition 100% original complicated dial.

Hmm...sometimes size does matter ..............

GALLET BABY CHRONO
~ The Commander

A very RARE and COLLECTIBLE Baby Chronograph by GALLET.

The Commander utilized the world's first and only oval chronograph mechanism, specially produced by the Excelsior Park branch of Gallet. This uniquely shaped movement allowed for a time recording wristwach of smaller proportions for professional women or the man desiring a timepiece that fit easily under the cuff. The Commander was also the first wrist chronograph capable of recording events lasting up to a full 45 minutes in duration.

VERY Good condition complicated original BLACK dial with 2 registers AND SPIRAL TACHOMETER SCALE. Subsidiary Second register at 9:00 position, 45 minutes chrono register at 3:00 position.

White hands set ORIGINAL to the watch. The hands together with the details on the dial & Luminous numerals provide a very nice contrast over the black dial.

Good condition stainless steel case (diameter 29mm) with snap back. Square pushers start, stop and reset properly. Special formed OVAL shape Mechanical winding movement keeps perfect time and all chrono functions work properly.

Fitted with a Vintage leather strap.

UNIVERSAL SPACECOMPAX

Highly sought after Universal SPACECOMPAX in excellent condition.

This rare piece needs some introduction because unlike its brother Tricompax, this is not something you get to see everyday. Look at the pushers - THEY ARE EXTREMELY LONG AND OF RUBBER/BAKELITE? MATERIAL - make this watch extremely rare and highly collectible. The pushers on normal chronographs are of metal material and none are of this length and design. Many Spacecompaxes are without these original pushers OR are of the SHORTER Version, the ones on this piece is original and perfect condition !!!

Search around the web and major watch sites and you will agree that this is an extremely rare and you might not find one at all elsewhere with the long black pushers.Beautiful original black dial with three registers. Luminous markers with the letter U wrap around them, what a way to highlight the branding of Universal. matching hands in very good condition too. This show the attention to details the designers for this watch have.

Original screw in crown signed "U". Original universal stainless steel bracelet in mint condition signed "U" and original crystal with "U" signed in the middle.

An Early Very fine and Extremely Rare curved oversize rectangular, silver gentleman's wristwatch by ROLEX yes ROLEX !!!!! Circa 1915.

Massive, hinged back, wire lugs silver case measuring 28mm excluding crown, 30mm including and 55mm from lug to lug !!!!!

Original off-white dial, with painted exploding Arabic numerals, "Spade" blued steel hands. Dial, case and movement signed Rolex.

A very important art deco example.....and it is from ROLEX !!!!!

Fitted in an EXTREMELY RARE Original Vintage ROLEX presentation box. A similar Rolex example in gold case was auctioned off by Sotheby's in 2003 for EURO 50,000 and this item also made it to the cover page of the catalogue of the particular auction, indicating its importance and rarity.........

Well, it is a predecessor - many collector friends said so when they see this Very fine, HUGE (52mm x 32mm) early rectangular curved, solid gold 1930's art deco wristwatch by OMEGA.

Silvered dial with black enamelling to the exploding Arabic numerals and blued steel hands complete the vintage charm that makes this little (well rather large for that matter) timepiece from the art deco era so dear to hold and nice to own.

E&C 18K ART DECO

An Extremely RARE and Important Exploding numerals Art Deco wrist watch in a solid gold 18K case Circa 1920s/30s.

What makes it so special is not only the exploding numbers, it has: Original Dial, Original Solid Gold case and look at the shape, probably inspired from the lips of the designer's beloved person.

The strap goes into the inside of the case and hooked on 2 pins from each side. Original blued steel hands matches the exploding numers perfectly. Very Long case (measures about 50mm long).

I hear it used to belong to a Royal family........

Another Rare, 18k Yellow Gold exploding number wrist watch by ORATOR.

Ca 1920's.

Personally love the Roman numerals (my first roman #) Exploding aged dial with so much vintage patina and charm.

There is no lugs on this one, the strap goes into the case where there are 2 pins/hooks to hold the strap to the watch. Screws at the side reminds me of one Cartier model which looks exactly the same that I missed a few years ago.

An EXTRA LARGE huge silver watch with PERFECT ENAMEL dial from Moeris in superb condition.

Large hinged silver case with charming silver patina. Beautiful original MINT porcelain dial with no hairline crack or chip. Original hands too.

Perfect porcelain dial is a dream of many watch collectors, this one is huge and charming measures 42mm excluding and 48 including crown and 48mm from lug to lug.

A very Hard to find JUMBO size enamel/porcelain dial Silver watch Ca 1902s.

This is the FIRST vintage watch (#1) I purchased years ago and is now part of some permanent displays in my humble gallery. Each time I look at this timepiece, it reminds me of my humble youth and brings back lots of old sweet memories .....
