DID YOU KNOW?:  In the early 1920s Cartier formed a joint venture company with Edward Jaeger (of Jaeger-LeCoultre) to produce movements solely for Cartier - the famed European Watch & Clock Company, Inc.  It was also during this period that Cartier began adding its own reference numbers to these watches produced under this co-operation, usually by stamping a four-digit code ** on the case of the watches.    Due to their rarity, these early Cartier watches usually command very high value in major auction houses.

Case back is signed Cartier WATER RESISTANT SWISS MADE ARGENT PLAQUE OR G 20M, 1810  1, 006718.  100% Authentic Cartier Watch.  The 20 micron goldplated over 0.925 silver case is in very good condition. Case secured with 8 screws from the back. The original protective stickers with opening around the screws is still intact, showing that the watch was hardly worn.
