This is an EXTREMELY RARE CARTIER 18K Solid Gold 2 registers 38mm chronograph Circa 1953. IN ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION. This rare Cartier classic timepiece was one of the exotic designs created by Jean Jacque Cartier when he headed Cartier London starting from 1945. Made in collaboration with either Jaeger LeCoultre or Movado with their provenances identified by the special double sets of matching reference numbers engraved both inside the case back and underneath the watch lugs. Search the internet & you would probably only find ONE other piece of this rare early Cartier chronographs available for sale. D/ 100% Original dial with beautiful vintage patina. Original hands set.
